حضرت ابن سیرینؒ نے فرمایا ہے کہ اگر کوئی شخص حضرت اسرافیل ؑ کو ان کی صورت میں دیکھے تو یہ قوت اور بزرگی اور جاہ و جلال اور علم و دانش کی دلیل ہے اور جس ملک میں دیکھے اس کی آبا دی اور امن کی دلیل ہے اور صور پھونکتے دیکھتے تو یہ بلا اور فتنہ کی دلیل ہے۔ فرمان حق تعالیٰ ہے۔ ( صور پھونکا جائے گا اور جو شخص آسمانوں اور زمیں میں ہے، بچھڑ جائیگا) اور اگر دیکھا کہ آپ کے ہاتھ میں صور ہے اور پھونکتے نہیں ہیں۔ دلیل ہے کہ شہر میں بلا اور فتنہ اور نہایت خوف پڑے گا اور اگر دیکھے کہ اسرافیل ؑ اس کے گھر میں آئے اور وہ سوتا ہوا جاگ پڑا ہے، دلیل ہے کہ اس شہر کا بادشاہ اس پر خفا ہوگا۔ حضرت کرمانی ؒ نے فرمایا ہے کہ اگر اسرافیل ؑ کو کوئی شخص خواب میں دیکھے کہ اندوگین صور پھونکتے ہیں اور اس نے بطور برکت صور کی آواز سنی ہے تو دلیل ہے کہ اس ملک میں مرگ پڑے گی اور ظالم لوگ ہلاک ہوں گئے اور اگر دیکھے کہ اسرافیلؒ تازہ روی اور خوشی کے ساتھ اس کو دیکھتے ہیں تو اس امر کی دلیل ہے کہ اس کو بادشاہ سے امن اور خیر پہنچے گا۔ اور اگر دیکھے کہ اسرافیل نے چھٹی پر مہر لگا کر اس کو دی ہے تو دلیل ہے کہ اس کی موت قریب ہے اور اگر دیکھے کہ اسرافیل نے اس پر آواز کسا اور زغائب ہوگئے۔ دلیل ہے کہ اس کو بادشاہ کی طرف سے نقصان پہنچے گا۔
